Lori King McClellan { Bridals }

I always absolutely love doing bridal sessions with my clients, but this one was extra fun to do. We loaded up the vehicle and headed to Atkins VA where this shoot was located.  Although there were clouds hovering overhead it was not raining when we arrived. We began the photo shoot with her beautiful horse, Galena and I think we may have ended up with about 10 shots or maybe a few more when the rain started. It was a mad dash to get Lori into the back of a mini van with the hatched raised & everyone was holding umbrellas over her to protect her from the rain. A few of us ended up looking like drowned rats by the time the rain stopped. lol! But once the skies cleared we had a blast dashing from spot to spot doing her portraits. There were so many options that it was almost overwhelming!  By the end of the day we came away with what we felt were some amazing images.

The day of this session was hot and humid, but with it being by the river made the humidity much more tolerable.  The surroundings were just beautiful! It was a pleasure working with this sweet, loving family. :)

Jill & Steve { Wedding }

This was a sweet wedding held in the beautiful Hungry Mother State Park. It was raining when we first arrived and we weren't sure they would be able to hold the outside.
